Vampire Haiku 4 U

vampire acolytes,
scholars of the undead damned—
here is your homework:

contribute your own
slices of sharp imagery
slivers of meaning

in three succinct lines
five—seven—five, short syllables
examples below:

vampire laundry tip
cold water eliminates
bloody napkin stains

Vlad served succulent
shish kebab hors d'oeuvres, portions
a bit too large though

tempting drop glitters,
drips, sweet red from the corner
of his bloody mouth

hot blood, cold blood, I
don't care just keep it coming
spurt by crimson spurt
